Since its inception, Vista Living has been solely dedicated to serving those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. It was memory care in its earliest phases.
Our deep history and love for the elderly have provided best-in-class care for this unique population. Vista’s unwavering commitment to transparent and honest communication and education foster a culture that families of those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s have loved and supported for over two decades. Long committed to serving this demographic of elders, Vista understands all stages of dementia. We have supported, counseled, and cried with spouses, children, and other loved ones for years before they ultimately made the decision to place their loved ones in our homes. We have written a book, Mindful Dementia Care, documenting our story and experience.
Upon reflecting on our experience and the needs we have met through the years, Vista leadership recognized that caregivers of elders with dementia and Alzheimer’s have yet another unmet need: to keep loved ones at home for as long as possible with the assistance of our professional staff. We also know well the physical and emotional toll caring for someone with dementia can have on caregivers, especially in the early stages of the disease, when professional, specialized care seems beyond reach. There is no one that can do this better than us. And there is no one better to help reduce the risk of transfer trauma when staying at home is no longer possible.
